    Hi Steven,

You have upgraded from the perpetual license to subscription.

Please note that your old key was deactivated.

Now you can use your new key to activate Capture One 21 and later versions, including Capture One 20 or 12.

    Lily,

Does it become impossible to continue to use a previous perpetual license key fully paid for at the time it was obtained? For example, on a different machine? Or on the same machine if the subscription license is to be discontinued at some point in the future?

    Hi Lily -

Thanks! Now I get it.  The new license replaces the old licenses for the different versions.  So,now as I move from one machine to another (older one), I just need to update the license code for whichever version I'm using to the new license code.  That's easy!

I did not intend to cancel my subscription exactly.  I was just panicked when I couldn't get other versions to work, so I tried cancelling to try to "undo" the damage I had caused.

Should I wait until next year to renew? Or is there a way to make that automatic?  Also, I have heard mumblings about price increases after the first year.  What do you expect that to be like?
