Keywords issues with C1

Trying to rename a single keyword  and it takes forever, I have to kill C1 as a task on my Imac. and by the way my Imac is 64GB 8 cores I9 with SSD disks.......

The Keywords implementation is terrible, worse than Lightroom by far!!!

What is your plan to fix this?
