Tools automatically sticking together

Would anyone know how to switch off the automatic “attaching tools together” behaviour?
I’m referring to when the bottom of any given tool window goes orange and “glues” any other tool window that gets too close. Although this can be useful for some people it definitely doesn’t work for me and is very annoying, like an uncontrollable magnet.
I can’t find any information on how to control this anywhere.
Any suggestion?
