Problem connecting to the server to activate my license.

I downloaded the trial version and got the license key after the download, when i try to make it active using online procedure it says there are temporary problems to connect to the server as soon as i insert my login e-mail address and password ( hotmail account, i thought it might be typing the word hotmail that it doesn't like somehow, already checked it with permissions in windows firewall ) so the program send me to the manual activation procedure where i get the qr link and the registration code to paste in the page, it says " Oops, this registration key is invalid..... "
