importing large lightroom catalogue keeping the structure of the lightroom maps

I want to switch from LR CC (latest version) to C1 (also latest version); I have structured my photo's in maps, first level year, then months and then days. This for a period of eleven years. I selected about 60000 photo's to import in C1. I have one catalogue in LR. If I import this catalogue in C1, this structure of year month day is lost and ordered alphabetically. What is the best way to import these photo's in such a way that I can keep this structure?

    Yes I did (and a few other tutorials). But I did not find a reference to importing structured LR catalogues as described in my wquestion above, in C1. So I was hoping other peolple have done that with a good result.
