Tethered Phase One P65+ crashes MacBook Pro crashes with Big Sur 11.2.1

Hello,

I've connected my Phase One P65+ to my MacBookPro 15" 2018 Big Sure 11.2.1 OS installed using the Apple original Firewire to Thunderbolt then to Usb C adapters. Once Capture One starts the computer crashes, same thing happens with the Phase One Firmware Updater software.

Any idea? I've run some tests with apple support but everything seems to work fine.

    BigSur does not support FireWire any more! 

    CaptureOne can't be blamed for that (for once), if Apple decides to drop support there's nothing anyone can do about it...

    Basically this renders all P-series backs somewhat useless for a lot of Apple users in the future (or at least less useable).
