Heal annoyance
I sometimes find that if I apply a Heal to an image that has already been cropped, the donor image is selected by Capture One outside my crop area and I cannot access it to move it.
Is there a way to do this without resetting my crop?

I too would like an answer/workaround for this. It's still a problem in the latest v21 release.

And so continues the tradition of passing bugs from one version to the next, to the next. I wish the developers would post a bug-fix release, free of charge. No new features, just a version where everything works as it should.

Using the crop tool, save the crop setting to the clipboard.
Remove the crop, fix whatever required access to data outside the crop area, reapply the crop.

One could do something broadly similar using a temporary additional variant.
or;
Leave the final precise crop to a late stage of processing after everything else is complete. Any interim crops would therefore be disposable.
If none of those currently available options are viable for you the best suggestion would be to use the "Submit a request" function and propose a change of functionality that describes the way you think it should work. Some specific detail might be useful there.
There are some requests about this functionality already in the system from recent times but the more that are created the better the functionality can be defined and the greater the chance that the suggestion count influences the probability of a change being developed. The more people want it the better the chance that it will be addressed - especially if the requirement is not constrained by, for example, third party technology.
