Nikon D810 : Camera Live view + Camera Click
Team,
I have recently started using CO20 on my Nikon D810.
I use the Tethertools tethering cable to have the live view on my Macbook. But many a times when I am doing a portrait shoot, I need to click using the camera shutter button. Which I am unable to do, and can only click the shutter button once I disconnect the cable.
Secondly, when my tether cable is connected, my Nikon's screen do not show the live view OR preview of images.
Are above-mentioned queries a known limitation or am I missing something.
Appreciate the help.
Best wishes,
UmanG

D810 needs Tether Tools cable add-on that controls the power supply, I think it's called the boost, or booster, something like that. Call them to discuss. The issue is that D810 connector is USB3 so power demands are apparently more of an issue than, for example, with the USB2 of my D750.
This information should be given to every purchases of a D810. I lost probably a day or more of time and a lot of frustration figuring this out.

Thank you for the info. Let me check with the vendor. Is D810 the only one that has USB3 and needs a booster. Any idea on it?
