shrink the tool panel?

Is there a way to shrink the width of the tool panel? I have tools on the left & the left/right arrow slider is all the way left. The panel seems quite wide & takes up some of the viewer space. thanks.

    You have some adjustment by dragging the right side of the tool panel when the tools or on the left of the screen. It reads like you know about that. The size difference for width is about 20%.

    I think the smallest width is the minimum required for many of the tools to be functional.

    You could simply hide them and operate with shortcuts or do other clever things with Workspaces.

    Font scaling may change one's perception of how narrow or wide the tools are at their smallest size.

    Thanks, yes I think this is as small as it gets. I will hide the tools when i can.
