Capture One Aspect Ratio/Crop Ratios Directory on Windows 10 CHANGED?!

Where are you finding the "Aspect Ratio" xml file?

The user created Crop ratios I can find are, since version 6, saved in the Appdata area for CaptureOne in the Presets60 folder. They are just files that contain the ratios  - numbers separated by a semi-colon.

Are we looking at different things?

They continue to be used after upgrades and updates. Moving so a new machine or making a complete clean delete and re-install will require them to be recovered for a saved location or recreated.

So far as I can tell Win 10 is no different to earlier versions of Windows.

It may be different to Mac in terms of the way the ratio data is stored?

These are the 2 directories in question

Previously Crop/Aspect Ratios are derived from an XML file placed here (Since Capture 8 or 9 as far back as I can remember)
    \AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Aspect Ratios 8.2

Now it is here in a different format... since Capture 20?
    \AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Presets60\CropRatios

Any advice? Short of recreating all my aspect ratios from scratch via in software function...

OK, on my new system with a recent V20 installation and no extensive activity so far the only folder is

    \AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Presets60\Crop Ratios    (note the space)

My old system, dating form very early 2013 and with V20 currently installed but all version from  about V8 previously (iirc correctly  - maybe even V7)

has the above plus  (folder dated 12/2014)  Empty Folder

\AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Presets60\CropRatios     (note no space) Folder dated 07/2019 and has contents.

\AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Presets60\Crop               (Folder dated 11/2014) Empty folder

    and

\AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Presets\CropRatios      (Folder dated 01/2021) that contains a default set of ratios dated in 05/06/07/2013.

None of them claim to be XML files.

I would guess that the folders dated in months 11 or 12 of any year may be related to beta testing activity.

There is, as far as I recall, no constraint on the creation of folder within the folder that C11 expects to find and use.

None of the ratio files are presented as xml file types.

Obviously I can only offer this information as an observation rather than a conclusion or recommendation.

Personally I do not have any concerns about this and I don't see anything not working as expected. On the other hand I don't make a lot of use of crop ratios so my levels of concern may not be as important as yours.

Thanks for replying to my posts even though there's not solution in sight. How about your folder at this directory? \AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Aspect Ratios 8.2

On my mac, my old XML files are still working for aspect ratios but not on my windows workstations.

I've got a long list of specific aspect ratios from years of different projects so it is not a simple case or just starting from scratch without any pain involved...
