Lightroom Classic and C1 workflow?
I am a recent convert from LrC but still find LR preferable for its catalogue. I would like a simple means of opening an image in C1 21 for processing then a simple return to LR catalog. Can anyone put me out of my misery and just tell me it's not possible?! Extensive internet trawls have not, so far, given me anything that works. Thanks if you can help.

If you want to use C1 as an external editor for LR then you can simply open a file in a Session and edit it.
After editing you would need to Export the result (or, perhaps better, use the Output Recipe Processing options) to send the file back to somewhere that LR can make use of it.
Exactly how to achieve that will depend on the details of your expected workflow and what you wish to manage within LR.
Others here may have extended advice for you that can be more specific if you can outline your preferred end to end workflow.
