Critical: Capture One 21 often not saving changes to masks, etc.!
1) On several occasions Capture One 21 build 14.0.2.36 has not saved my changes to an image, specifically changes to *masks*!
It appears that the application malfunctions internally at some point, maybe after outputting to jpeg, and when I exit and restart the app, the changes have not been saved. They are gone. I have lost over 5 hours of creative work. Clearly, this makes the product unusable.
Let me know if there is a way to force the program to save my changes to disk in some way. It should let the user know that it can no longer function properly so the user can stop making adjustments which will be lost.
2) Also, on several occasions, it will not output all the checked layers to jpeg! This is rectified when I exit and restart the app. However, in those cases when the program starts to misbehave, it allows you to continue to work, but when you exit and restart it, the changes to masks from that or earlier point are gone.
3) In some cases the program will not display a mask when I press 'M' or use the menu to always display the mask. This can be alleviated by switching to another tool group and back.
I disabled Hardware Acceleration, but I saw no improvement. I still lose changes.
I am an avid photographer but also a senior C++ Windows Desktop programmer for an investment software firm. I fully appreciate the difficulty of providing a reliable commercial application of the level of complexity of Capture One.
These critical issues, however, unfortunately, make the program currently unusable.

I have had the same experience on numerous occasions with version 14.2.0. I guess the problem has not been fixed. I am curious why there has been no activity on this problem.

I too am having the issue with version 14.1.1.63. I have submitted a help request, and I am waiting for a response.
