Going Sony from Canon - Can I use camera-specific software for my old CR2 files?

I have C12 Pro that works with any camera, but I want to change to subscription model for Sony. Will I be able to edit my old photos shot with my Canon camera?

The website says "Camera Support" (https://www.captureone.com/en/products-plans/single-user), so I am not sure if this refeers to Live Tethering or to the RAW files? Both?

    Hi Carsten,

    You will be able to work with RAW files only from Sony cameras when you switch to the Capture One (for Sony).

    The RAW files from other cameras, including Canon, will have an eye-icon on them meaning that they can't be edited.
