HISTORY PANEL
NEW TO C1 AND LOVE IT. FAR SUPERIOR TO LR, BUT WITHOUT A HISTORY PANEL, UNDOING MISTAKES AND 'EXPERIMENTS' WHICH DIDN'T PAN OUT, AND JUST IN LEARNING THE SOFTWARE, NOT HAVING A HISTORY PANEL IS NOTHING LESS THAN ARCHAIC. HOW FRUSTRATING TO TRY SOMETHING CREATIVE AND FIND OUT, AFTER FINDING THAT IT DIDN'T WORK AS HOPED, YOU NEED 5 MINUTES TO BACKTRACK TO A PREVIOUS LOOK. LIGHTROOM WAS SO SLOW, BUT I DIDN'T NOTICE ANY SLOWDOWN DUE TO LONG HISTORY ENTRIES. C1 IS SO SOPHISTICATED SO IT MAKES NO SENSE THAT THIS SIMPLE FEATURE IS SORELY MISSING. A HISTORY PANEL WOULD MEAN AN IMMEDIATE UPGRADE FOR MYSELF AND THOUSANDS OF OTHERS. THERE'S NO BETTER LEARNING TOOL THAN A HISTORY PANEL ONCE YOU GET USED TO USING IT. THANKS FOR YOUR 'FEATURE REQUESTS' OPPORTUNITY!

Of course, a history panel is missing. It is essential for monitoring and being able to go back to a step to continue working from it without having to start from scratch.

Yes, this is absolutely something I would love to have. I constantly do roundtrips between Affinity Photo and Capture One. Since Affinity Photo has a great history panel I instinctively look for it in Capture One as well.

The use of a history panel is ingrained into anyone who has used Photoshop and Lightroom for any period of time. This is a feature that needs to be added.

But if one has not been using the Adobe products (or similar) it is not missed at all.
