Required to log in but also provide license key????
This is a prime example of just not thinking things through.
Just installed v21. When launched it required me to log in to my C1 account. Fine, a bit of a pain in the butt but ok. Open Chrome, go find my web login password.
But then C1 requests the license key? You JUST had me log into my account. Are you saying that you don't know how to query my account to check that I have a valid license??? Adobe knows how to do this.
It's things like this that drive me up the wall.
Sorry for the rant people. I've just had enough of C1's shortcomings, lack of judgement, exorbitant pricing and questionable marketing tactics.

That's about the only thing I understand regarding CaptureOne. Some people or companies may have multiple licenses (some for older perpetual licenses, others for additional licenses and perhaps even subscription licenses) so the program needs to know which one you want to use.
Still you're right, it should auto-fetch the data (via your login) and if there are multiple license keys you should be able to select the one you want to use.0
