Rating proble

Im running Capture one 21 on macOSBigSur11.2.1 , when I go to rate images, pressing 1 for one star and it marks it and with in 2 seconds it un rates it.  Does any one know why?

    Yes, it's probably because you have metadata syncing turned on. If Capture One preferences are set wrong, it will sync the rating back to something else perhaps set in another app, because that is what your settings tell it to do. Go to the Image tab in Preferences, and set the option shown here to None.

    If that solves it, you can then decide what options you want to set guided by this in the online help.
