Capture One - minimalistic History
in capture one I have made various settings, created new layers and used the supplied style "Sping 06". Is there a possibility to see in a history which settings I have made? With this large number of settings, I just don't remember what I did where. The history can also be kept very simple, a text file would already help me.

If you are referring to layers, you can name each of your layers with an explicit name. If you are referring to settings, the answer is "No", there is no history in Capture One, as its philosophy of independant parameters is different from the one of Lightroom, for instance. But many people have already asked for such a feature. You can add your voice to theirs by submitting a request (top right corner of this page).

thanks Robert.
I have saved some of my settings in layers. This works very well, for example, if the color balance is stored in one layer and the contrast in another. But why can't I store the Black and White tool in a layer? Is there a list of which tools I can store in layers and which I cannot?

The black and white & grain tools can't be used with layers. This is a feature. Halas !

You can easily see which tools can be used in layers—they have a little brush icon next to the tool’s name.
You could also have a look at the new Style Brush tool if you’re using C1 21; it was released this week.
