Editing Canon files in Capture One

I got my license of CO when I registered my P65+ back with Phase One. I had a second shooter on set shooting BTS with a Canon 5D, and when I import these files into CO, they have an eyeball icon in the corner of each image and I'm unable to 'print' a PDF contact sheet of them.

Is this because they're Canon CR2 files? Am I only able to open Phase One files with my copy of Capture One?

  Yes. If you got the free copy with your Phase One back, then it will only open Phase One camera files. If you want to use Capture One for Canon files too, you'll need to pay for Capture One Pro.
