Capture 1 / lightroom DNG workflow
Hello.
I have recently joined a project where the capture/delivery processes had already been set up.
Their process is to shoot tethered in lightroom, perform basic edits there as well as in photoshop, and then to export a dng to be sent to remote editors.
I much prefer to shoot tethered, as well as perform basic edits in capture one alongside photoshop.
If the final export has to be dng, then I'm in a bit of a bind. I'm trying to find the least destructive and fastest way to run photos through capture one, roundtripping occasionally with photoshop, and sending through to lightroom to export a final dng.
Is the best method to convert to and use Tiff files inside of lightroom to then export to dng?

there is nothing like "least destructive" you can have a non destructive raw workflow with raw-DNG or a destructive one with linear-DNG, so converting a tiff back to DNG with LR it is destructive. if this is what they want then there is no other way as you described it.
