Leica Q2 crop: webinar answer
I participated in the webinar on 02 March focusing on Capture One use with Leica cameras. One of the questions I asked was whether CO is able to show the in-camera crop selected in a Leica Q2 when it imports the DNG (the DNG remains a full 28mm view, but the in camera crop allows the photographer to pre-select a 35mm, 50mm or 75mm crop, mainly to aid framing). Lightroom does this.
David Grover initially said he didn't know but thought it would be an easy feature to add. Robin Sinha then relayed an answer (from someone called Jonathan - not sure if he was CO support or just another participant!) that it could do this. I can't find a way to make this happen with my version of CO 20. Is there a setting I'm missing, or is this only something that CO 21 can do?

I am a Q2 Leica user I would love to know the answer related to Ian question.
Is it possible to set a crop in the crop mode? Or do we need to shoot jpeg+Dng, check the jpeg and duplicate the crop?0 -
Just had a try with the Q2 and it's a huge disappointment not to have this feature in Capture One :(
Tried a Fuji right after and you can definitely tell what a powerful tool C1Pro becomes when properly implemented
Does it come from an Adobe Licensing issue?
