Upgrade CO 20 > 21, folders and catalogs missing
I just upgraded and activated CO 21. When I open it, it doesn't show me the key words, folder structure, or the catalogs/sessions from my CO 20 work. It appears that the Mac OS sees the new version as an entirely new app and does not import any of my work. Does this mean I have to export my keywords from 20 and import it into 21 (and repeat for 22, etc)? And do I have to import each session and catalog individually?
If so, that is REALLY user-hostile.

Have you tried simply opening one of your catalogues with CO 21?

Yes, I have tried — both attempts succeeded.
I updated a 14.0x catalog and a 14.xbeta catalog. the upgrade was swift and painless from what I can tell.

I'm a little confused by this. Your catalogue upgraded, but you can't see your images? Is that what you're saying?
Hopefully, someone much better informed than me will buy in, but in the meanwhile, have you contacted CO Support?

Update to my OP...RESOLVED
I successfully upgraded from Capture One 20 to 21 and yes, I can open, upgrade, and then use the catalogues from before. The issues that concerned me are that the following do not seem to transfer from 20 -> 21.
- Keywords. I had created and imported a set of keywords to Capture One 20 and it appears that the keywords are stored in the catalogue, so one I open and upgrade the catalogue, this is resolved.
- My set of export process recipes. I did not see a way to export these, so I assumed I had to recreate them It appears that they move forward with the catalogue.
It appears that the software works, but that the documentation is unclear - it would be nice if there was a simple place to see what moves forward with the catalogue.

I did not lose keywords or process recipes when updating. I wonder what we did differently?
It looks lile my keywords database and recipes are in sub-folders of my Library/Application Support/Capture One folder. I do find it interesting that the process recipes are in a folder named Recipes120 (version 12, when the recipes were initially created). That folder also contains recipes created or modified in Capture One 21.
