Capture one 21 connection problems Fujifilm ex3. Macbook pro M1.

My fujifilm ex3 doesnt connect to capture one 21 pro. I'm using MacOS Big Sur version 11.2.3 on a M1 macbook pro M1 with the lastest camera firmwire updates. Connecting via a USBconnection and it works fine with other softwares. In capture one 21, it doesnt even show up as a camera choice. 

Does anyone else experience this problem?

  I have always experienced similar connection inconsistencies with my Fuji GFX100. Sometimes it tethers right away and sometimes C1 can not recognize the camera. Sometimes C1 will crash if the camera enters sleep mode. My Canon 5Diii connects 100% of the time, every time and never crashes.

  Ok. Sounds annoying! 

  I'm using an adapter (USB to Thunderbolt), could that be a problem? If so, is there a solution where I could connect my camera directly yo the computer? 

  Also, I'm having a C1 pro trial version, but that shouldnt be a problem right?
