capture one 21

i just bought an upgrade from capture one 20 pro to capture one 21. it is downloaded in my computer. but every time i start it up i am asked to activate it again and fill in my licencecode. i think that that shout not be normal. can you tell me what to do?

    Sorry if this is a dumb question, but have you installed it right? Did you open the installer, drag the app to the shortcut to the Applications folder,...

    ...and after it had installed are you opening it from the Applications folder, not from the downloaded disk image?
