if other members of the forum are to be able to help you, you'll need to give more details. Which version of Capture One 21 - the latest release? Which version of Windows. Has anything else changed on your computer recently? Have you tried reinstalling Capture One?

Did the problems seem to appear at the same time as a Windows 10 update?

OK, so you have the latest version of Capture One, but what variant? (Top menu line -> Help->About Capture One).

If Capture One Pro, are you operating in Session mode or Catalog mode?

What is the actual image file type?

Has the image file been opened/processed by some other image application(s)?

Have you moved the image file using application(s) other than Capture One?

Does Capture One work as expected if you

    • disconnect the tablet
    • remove/disable that third party software so it can not be autostarted
    • restart your computer with an ordinary computer monitor connected
    • start Capture One

Test without introducing any other software (let alone third party software that fiddles with the computer's video system.)
