C1 is little bit laggy and slow with my M1 Mac mini, is this normal?
Hi, I'm using M1 Mac mini CTO (RAM 16GB, Internal SSD 512GB).
I know that C1 is working on Rosetta 2, and also understand the performance is slower than native support.
But when I work with a folder containing 2000+ photo in my catalog, change of preview by some adjustment is slower than working with other folder containing fewer photos, thumbnails are not changed by new adjustment, and thumnails of some photo doesn't appear irregardless adjustment from the run of program.
Maybe C1 works hard for rendering new preview and thumbnails, but cogwheel on the top of window always rotates and doesn't stop unless I exit the folder and view another folder.
Many problems limit my editing speed.
I always store my RAW files in external NVME SSD with thunderbolt 3 connection, so my storage would not make performance issue.
Did I face unavoidable slow performance by Rosetta 2?
Will this problem be solved after M1 native support of C1?

I'm having the same problems - and feeling very disappointed with my 'upgrade'

@Lucy Alcorn
You'd better turn off 'Hardware acceleration - Display', because I've experience better performance when I did.
