What would prevent CO from synchronizing a folder?

I am using a catalog, not sessions. Capture One no longer shows one of my folders. This has happened before and all I needed to do is add the folder then Synchronize.

This time I added the folder selected Synchronize and nothing. I manually added the sub folders (right click >> Add Folder...) and still no images where found. The images are there.

What would prevent Capture One from synchronizing a folder?

I do not want to lose over 1000 images. I tried going to several backups, the missing folders were there but I got the old Error Loading Adjustment Mask error (I thought they fixed that) so no only can I not get these images to load but my backups are useless.

I'll contact support but ideas from this forum are quicker and sometimes better.

    Maybe this helps: clear the filter rules!

    Thanks Kassur, definitely no images showing in these folders. I've contacted support.
