P65+ tethering instant crash with Big sur (any solutions ?)

Hey ! My P65+ Causes instant crash when starting the tethering capture on C121 on Big sur

Already know that I have to be patient and may have to go back on older mac versions.

Do anyone any software alternative that might help while waiting for this to maybe getting solved ?

You should probably ask the question on the Phase One Cameras and Backs forum. There will likely be more people there who can offer advice about P65+ connectivity.

BigSur does not support FireWire any more, not even via adapters or docks/hubs/ports.

And since the P65+ only offers FireWire for tethering it's pretty much unusable with newer Apple laptops.

If I were starting over in medium format, I'd go with Leica, which can be tethered to the Adobe software I'm already paying for.

Well.. or Fuji.

Cheaper, more flexibility, less weight, more adaptable, higher resolution,... and works with CaptureOne
