number of installations on M1
I just bought the C1 licence for fujifilm and installed it on a pc. I have another installation included and I'm about to get a M1 macbook. What if I install the emulated version now, will I be able to install the optimized version when released or they will consider already used my 2 installations?

You'll be fine. Your 2 installations are to do with how may installations you have at once. So if, for example, you were to change one of your computers, you would just deactivate Capture One on the one you were getting rid of, and then use your 2nd installation on the new one instead.
Assuming that native M1 support comes as an update to the current version, there would be no issue anyway, as updates are just updates to the installations you have, not new installations. If they don't bring in native M1 support until a later version entirely, say Capture One 22, then we would all be in the same boat, needing an upgrade to version 22 (unless you're on a subscription).
But either way you have absolutely nothing to lose by installing Capture One straight away on your new M1 MacBook.
