Keyboard shortcut for "Delete (Move to session trash)" selects last image in collection

While culling my photos I've set my keyboard shortcut for "Delete (Move to session trash)" to CTRL+DEL and this has worked just fine. Suddenly this changed, and now, just after pressing the key combination, the selected photo is moved to the session trash, but then the last photo in the session is automatically selected. Then I have to scroll all the way back to find where I was and start moving through my photos again. This is very annoying. It happens over and over, and I haven't changed my keyboard shortcuts. Sometimes it helps if I reload the sessions, other times, actually most of the time, it just doesn't work. Does anybody have a clue why this happens? Thanks in advance.

 

I'm using Capture One 21 Pro on Windows 10, all updates for os and Capture One installed.
