Can't delete files / process size changed

For some reason the software stopped allowing me to delete files. I keep getting a dialog box that says "Could not copy file/Volumes/ ... to /Volumes ..." I don't want to copy ANYTHING. I want to delete files. Also, my recipe for TIFFs disappeared. I created a replacement, but the output size of my images dropped Fromm 90mb to 87mb. 

I'm using a MacBook Pro, running 10.15.7 and C1 20 Pro (build 13.0.2.19)
