include subfolders of X levels while importing in catalogue
When I want to import new folders into an existing (referenced) catalogue, I can include subfolders, but not limit the number of levels of those subfolders (like to 2 or 3). That leads to importing lots of irrelevant sub-sub-sub folders. Alternative is now to import individual folders one-by-one, which is a lot of work (and remembering). Mayby import (and sync?) need a limit to the number of levels of subfolders to make importing (and synchin) more efficient..... A fixed number of levels of subfolders allowes to import a date-structured folder structure excluding any non relevant (later added) subfolders below the date-level folder structure.

But Capture One (and many similar "Gallery" systems) can deal with dates for images without the need for folders. Why force yourself to use old fashioned "filing cabinet" metaphors?
If, however, you are serious about proposing a possible Change Request suggestion then you may get more traction from adding the idea to the Features Request part of the forum since it appears to be actively monitored by C1 staff as one might expect.
The rest of the forum is primarily a User to User resource.

"Why force yourself to use old fashioned "filing cabinet" metaphors?" >> Because other software is also used to access these files. A date structured file system is an advantage then....
