C20 - wrong variants number

C20 says I have 353 variants in my catalogue... but I get errors when I try exporting masters or variants... If I select the catalogue no image is present in the right pane... How can I reset this counter?

  I use variants a lot but in sessions only, I NEVER work with catalogs.
