Importing is as slow as it never was

Just imposed the newest update 14.1.1 and it takes half an hour to import 84 fuji x100v images.. Serious? What is wrong here?

    Are you sure "exclude duplicates" is unchecked ?

    I just found the problem: the card reader caused the problem, I replaced it and it works now. Thans for your attention!
