Upgrade from C20 licence to C21 with presets and package price

I have a question, I currently have a C1 20 license with a presets package. I would like to upgrade to C1 21 version, I understand that since I already have presets, I can take advantage of the cheaper offer of upgrading to C1 21 without presets because I have already bought them? Do I have to upgrade to C1 21 with the preset package to keep them? I want to make sure I don't make a mistake and lose my preset bundle. And one more question, does the C1 21 version work properly on macOS Mojave? Thank you for your help.
