Skin tone adjustment stops working and then everything else
Hi
Capture one 21 on 10.15.7 here, on trial mode.
So I adjust the image of a picture, exposure, contrast, saturation, first color balance...
Then I create a new layer to do skin tones, pick the color I want and as soon I try to manipulate the uniformity it stops adjusting anything, I mean you can play with the sliders and that but the picture won't change in any matter.
I go back to background and try to adjust any other thing and it also doesn't works, the picture will stay the same.
What is happening? Sounds familiar to any of you?

Did you just create a new layer, or a new filled layer? In a layer in Capture One any adjustments only happen to parts of the layer where you have created a mask. By default a new layer has no mask, so any adjustments you make will look as if they have no effect. If what you want to do is make some adjustments to the whole image, but prefer to do it on a separate layer (quite a reasonable thing to do) then create a filled layer. On the other hand, if you want to make some adjustments to just part of the image, mask in just those parts (for instance the sky).
You need to know that a Layer in Capture One is NOT the same thing as a layer in something like Photoshop.
There's a quick intro to layers here https://youtu.be/Tsq5qlIfDpg (5 and a half minutes)
and a long webinar about layers here https://youtu.be/7xxste-BTjc
