Problems with NEF-import

Hi all,

I am using the latest 21pro Windows version. I had a peculiar effect since quite a while ago: sometimes I am unable to import certain Nikon-NEF-files while other NEFs slot in like a breeze. I had no clue what the difference between the importable and unimportable files were.

Today, I reproduceably found the reason: After I have externally (Photo Mechanic Plus) keyworded a NEF I cannot import it any more! The effect does not show with CR2s and ARWs.

Has anybody else observed such a thing?

  Thanks for the hint!

  I re-migrated and everything is back to normal - apart from tons of keyworded photos which I need to reset and re-keyword ....

  Hi, I have just upgraded from Fujifilm 22 to Pro 22 as per the latest release. I am importing historical Nikon NEFs and I seem to have the same problem with keywords added in Lightroom 6. I don't want to have to remove the keywords. Will there be a fix coming does anybody think? Do I need to submit a request to Capture One?
