Issue with creating Black and White variants

Hello!

I cloned and created variants of some Tif and CR. files. I do this to present to my client colour and b/w. 

In the gallery the thumbnails look like this:

When I click on them they look like this:However as you can see, Enable Black and White is well...enabled.

Anyone else with this issue?
