Well, it's the 12th of April already, so presumably in the next couple of weeks. But they are unlikely to say more specifically than that. They are likely to release it when it's ready, and if they knew exactly when that would be (i.e. all problems ironed out, etc) then presumably it would be ready now.

As by 13th of April lossless compressed RAWs of the Sony A1 cannot yet be used. Except the compressed or the uncompress RAWs as stated in the 14.1.0 release notes. Happy that I do not face the same problem I had with my former Sony A7RIV - tethering with C1 never worked, as long as Sony's Imaging Edge Software was installed and specifically the driver "libusbK" USB devices which had to be removed separately after deinstalling Imaging Edge. With Sony A9 tethering has never been a problem at all. Maybe this info is helpful to Sony A7RIV users. So looking forward to be able to use lossless compressed RAWs - hopefully sooner than later ;-)

Oh not again. Same issue I had with Sony A7RIV now with A1. These to camera are not recognised by Capture One as long as Sony Imaging Edge Software is on my PC and especially the USB Driver device "libusbK". No issues with the A9. Absolutely annoying.
