I can't add to a mask

Hi all.

 

Ok, I started with a radial mask. 

I added luminance to it and made the best selection I could.

I switched to eraser and needed to clean up some outer edges...it asked me if I wanted to rasterize and I said yes.

I cleaned up the edges.

ON the inside of the mask, I have a few areas I still need to fill in.

I have M on to show make....red. I select the brush tool and am trying to fill in the dark areas with no red on them to mask them.

 

When I brush over these areas...it does nothing.

 

I've double checked full flow, hardness, etc....I'm on the correct layer.

 

Not sure what's going on. 

Any ideas or suggestions?

    Hi Cayenne,

    You could test out if the same happens on a different image in a different session or catalog, to avoid document specific problems. Also, please make sure you have the latest version of Capture One 20 or 21 installed.

    I am using v. 14.1.1 and it works perfectly in this regard!

    You're doing the right thing in the right way… no fault seen.
