Switching from viewing several images back to one image

    David,

If you have the "Edit all" toggle selected you can toggle that back to "Edit only one" image and process just the one current selected "active" image (wider border in around the image to show that it is the active image) to be used for any processing. Then toggle "Edit all" back on again to work with all images.

Other than that and apart from clicking in the Browser in a non-image area to deselect all images and then select the one you want, the available options can be found in the "Select" drop down menu. I would guess that there are also option to define shortcut keys to activate them if that would help.

As you probably already know the "Edit all" functionality is not always instantly available for all types of edit action. So in some cases no matter that the "Edit all" toggle is selected only the primary selection will be processed with a quick "copy and paste" action required to copy the changes to the rest of the already selected images.

I hope these observations help in some way.

ETA: If you are mainly concerned with what you see in the Viewer there is a simple control available for the Viewer to select whether it should display a single image or multiple images. Left end of the viewer toolbar - unless you have elected to work with the toolbar turned off.

Great stuff, thanks for this, the viewer control (top left) puts the selected image into 'full screen', and is  probably what I will use, the only other thing I have found is to Cmd-Click the unwanted images one at a time to reduce the selected images down to the target image.

Thanks again, much appreciated, as a relative newcomer to C1 I am slowly working through these little usability niggles and they are not always easy to solve via the help texts/FAQs.
