Please, give us a logarithmic flow slider

I use the Flow slider a lot, as many people I suppose.
I find that the linear behavior of this slider is not appropriate, it should be logarithmic!
There is a huge (and useful) difference between 3 and 6 (double effect) for instance, and it's very difficult to adjust.
On the other hand values as 50 vs 53 (even 50 vs 60) give rather identical results.
I would much prefer to have an extended scale in the low values scale and a standard scale in the highest.
That functionality could be set as optional in the preferences.
