Canon 5D Mark IV tethering error message

Hi there,

 

I'm trying to tether my Canon 5D Mark IV to Capture One. Im getting an error message. I've tried without memory card, checked that my mac recognizes the camera and made sure the capture is set to Canon camera preference. Please help!

    i have all of a sudden the same problem - any solutions?

    My CAnon 5D MarkIV was working fine with capture but now nothing works anymore..HELP!!

    UPDATE: I installed the latest firmware on my 5DMIV and it's all working seamlessly now!

     

    I'm having this same issue, I've followed all of the troubleshooting steps.

    First time tethering to my 2021 M1 iMac with my Canon 5D Mark IV. The computer recognizes it but the "Camera Error" message appears every time I try to connect it.

    I've tried a number of different cables, memory card in and out, updating to the latest version of Capture One.
