There is one thing — related to this "deleting images" thing — that
    I don't get.

Why are there TWO different places with files in a bin

    1. the session trash
    2. the trash folder ???

The Trash folder listed under Output Folder is the Session Trash folder.   It is not the system trash folder that usually lives in your dock.  It's a place to store images you think you don't want but aren't quite ready to remove from your disk.  Capture One still keeps track of metadata like keywords and ratings as well as edits for the files in the Session Trash folder.

When the Session trash folder is emptied the file is removed immediately.  It is not placed in the system trash folder.  It is gone and the only way to get it back is to hope you have a backup, somewhere.

    Hi Marko,

I got the behaviour of CO but these two trash bins may contain
different CO related files and RAWs.

I'm not seeing something.  I see one trash folder and a menu command to empty that folder.  Where is the second trash folder?

I happened to use the drop down > File > Empty Session Trash…
to delete 31 current files and then clicking the Tool sidebar trash
folder where 183 older files were sunbathing… patiently!!!!!
