Tethering Focus Bracketing
Hi, anyone know if Capture one is working on making Focus Bracketing via tethering possible anytime soon? Hasselblad recently released an update for Focus making it possible and our still life studio is seriously thinking about swapping systems.
The time saving would be worth it in the long run. The process now is shoot on SD card, using Nikon D850 built in Focus stacking feature, import photos via card reader to Capture one, apply style, repeat. It’s an tedious routine and it feels like an easy fix for C1.
Thanks. /Christoffer

I tired looking for a script to incorporate focus stack in C1 but couldnt find one. It would be extremely useful to have both functionality (during tethering and post-processing) but at the least during-tethering.

Yes, a must for me during tethering. I've had C1 for a number of years, but every time I try to move over I find something in my workflow that it doesn't do... and here we are again. I'm wanting to shoot tethered, I also need to use focus bracketing as it's macro shots... and so thought, at last, I can use C1... only to find it doesn't work. So no tethered shooting. Back to DXO pro and photoshop.

In lack of response from C1, our studio ended up switching system all together, bought Hasselblad cameras instead and now work with Phocus. The switch wasn’t cheap, but the workflow with focus stacking is much more time efficient = cheaper in the long run. Recommend anyone who depend heavily on focus stacking to do so.
