Session images suddenly not visible anymore

Dear all,

For some weeks I face an annoying issue. Session images suddenly are not in the session folders (Capture Folder) anymore.

My process: Images taken are color tagged and get a star rating. The picked images then are edited and saved to the output folder. Done! Then I switch to another application, switch back to Capture One to edit the other selected images and the edited image plus 20% of all images taken are gone. They still are on the drive available, but the color tags and star rating is a complete mess. I can't work like that and clients have to wait for the final images longer than expected. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
