Exported subfolders added as favorites
I like many, do my raw editing in C1. I then proceed to export TIFFs to be taken into photoshop. When images are done in photoshop, I use C1 to crop and batch export them to all the desired formats for my clients. However. When I export as TIFF into a subfolder in the output folder. I will have to manually add this to the favorites. Why just not have a checkbox "Add subfolder to favorites" so it's easy to access again..

Are you using the Output Recipe options for this?
"Export" has the tick box for making the target folder (new or existing) a favourite. Or at least it does on my system at V20 level and I have not noticed a difference for V21 so far.
Given that batch processing for multiple recipes may make the addition of an "Add to favourites" flag a little more challenging as a concept it may be considered differently. The challenge, especially notable when using sessions, is that for my purposes and I suspect many other users, the output process is likely to be final edits that I will rarely if ever expect to edit again as they are - at least not in Capture One.
If I do want to change something using C1 I' would access the folder to do so. When that happens C1, in a session, would create its own sub-folder for editing purposes including previews and thumbnails. Adding a folder as a favourite when exporting will do the same thing. Thus there is a storage and processing overhead to consider in addition to the use of the flag suggested.
The availability of the flag in the Export process recognises that Export, often for a single image, is likely to be used mostly for "round tripping" to PS or whatever, thus implying that the returned image is to be considered to be still in progress as far as editing is concerned. Most use of Output Processing may be less controlled. I could see people ticking the box when exporting to 3 or 4 recipes (for social media for example) and, potetnially, tripling the number of images in their catalogue without realising why it is happening.
So how such a flag is implemented and presented on use (e.g. warning notices to the user?) may need to be discussed carefully.

You sir are indeed correct. Currently running V12, but the "add to favorites" in the export and not output was available there. Only been using the output module as I found that to be easier as a step by step sort of workflow. Thanks!

I agree that the Output Recipes offer more but I think for "round tripping" the Export function may be appropriate especially with the choice of, in effect, making the output folder (where different to the source image folder default) a valid "favourite".
As I recall (it's not something I do often) if one uses the same folder as the source file and saves back from PS (or other applications) over the output file the image will already be in an accessible folder.
"Save As" to a new folder from the external application would indeed require that C1 (session or catalog) needs to be told that the location is to be added to the roster of places it is aware of - although in a session would cold simply access it without making it a favourite if that suited the needs.
There is a quick way to access the export folder which can make it easier to set the Favourite flag but that would not beat doing it at the time of folder and file creation for those that regularly use that approach to their workflow.
