ARW export to JPEG and embeds RAW data?
I processed some images from a Sony camera and exported JPEGs from them.
When opening the jpegs in Photoshop after, it launches CameraRaw and none of the edits are present and appears to be the RAW ARW file.
Is this expected behavior of Sony images?
The workaround was to uncheck "All Other Metadata" in the Metadata tab.
Just wondering why/how a jpeg is using the RAW data still vs "baking in" the edits performed in Capture One?

Did you Export Original or Variant?
In asking this I have assumed you used "Export" and not "Edit With" or "Open With".

I used a process recipe to export jpegs. And yes, the variants

As described it sounds like the Output Process is producing a RAW file as well as the jpg OR a RAW file with the .jpg file extension in the name? But only if "All other meta data" is included?
Odd if so. Is it something that Photoshop decides to do depending on what it finds in the file irrespective of the intended file type?
Have you by any chance got two (or more) Recipes active when exporting?
