Graphics Card Optimisation
I have just done a clean re-install of C-1 vs20
I'd have expected to have C-1 do it's usual optimisation of the GPU (as when newly installing on a new machine), but it didn't.
I've followed the uninstall instructions very carefully, so deleting folders etc by hand. And I've ensured the "Capture Core" and "Image Core" folders were cleaned out.
I also changed the name of the Batch Queue folder to "OLD" to force C-1 to create a new one if needed.
How do I force C-1 to re-optimise for my graphics card?
(I had a series of unexpected crashes on an otherwise stable system with zero changes to anything - hence me trying to clean things up.)

Lee,
That sounds odd.
As a Windows user I know nothing about Macs but I can say that on my system the status of the GPU kernel builds is re-assessed frequently with a re-run if anything seems to suggest there may have been changes.
There is a log file - maybe 2 log files - that is/are populated with the process steps progress and outcome. Have you checked those and if so what information did they offer?

Yes it is strange. I haven't found any info that gives a clue.
In the past I've had it rebuild the GPU optimisation when I deleted the Image Core folder, but not this time. In the olde (better), days I could write to Phase One directly but it seems they've gone all "Adobe" on us with their customer support... ha
Fortunately my system now seems to be running fine, but still leaves me curious.0
