The output folder could not be created
Trying to process out jpegs from raw ARW files. Keep getting this error.

Export or process recipe? If Export what is your destination? If using a process recipe what is the root folder, sub name, and sub folder set to in the Process Recipe file tab? If the root folder is set to Output Location what is your Output Location destination and sub folder.

Might this be something to do with Permissions for the Mac?

I'm having the same issue, have you found a solution to the problem?
Capture One won't process the selected files, a pop up window is saying 'could not process file, the output folder could not be created' while the export window adds more and more time to the window telling me how much time is left to process.
Looking at the pop up window the issue seems to be that Capture One ignores the Export location I have set and is trying to export to a different drive that has not been connected to my laptop in days.I have reset the Export Location, closed and re-opened Capture, connected and disconnected the external drive I'm exporting to, tried to export directly onto my mac but all with no success.
Any advice on what to do? About to miss important deadlines...

Not really, more like an experiment: Try export one image to a folder path that does not contain "funny" characters in the folder name(s), use only plain letters (A-Za-z) and numbers (0-9), no whitespace, no single quoute or other punctuation. If that works, you have a workaround and can solve the real problem afterwards.

Weirdly enough, it works now.
I connected the hard drive that C1 kept trying to export to and miraculously it is now exporting without problems to the drive I tried and failed to export to last night.
Strange glitch and not sure what caused it, but glad it works now!

Yes, so it turns out my new assistant had tempered with my export recipes.
I was only looking at my export location that I had set to the correct location but couldn't seem to export to. (That's why nothing changed when i reset this, it was always set to the correct destination)
Once I reset the Export Cross Recipe Tokens everything worked normal again. I would suggest hitting reset on both tools - Export Cross Recipe Tokens as well as Export Location and hopefully that will get you back on track!

Very nice of you to follow this through with a reply explaining the solution, Catharina - there are so many "drive-by" threads on here where people post once and then vanish, that it's refreshing to see someone with your thoughtfulness and decency.
