Capture One 20/21 upgrade (Nikon)

Permanently deleted user

Due to computer issues, I have been away from C1 for a while. 
Returning now, I have updated all my information in my profile and found my activation code but when attempting to use the code to activate my new install, I receive an error message indicating "there are no free updates available for this code". 
There are no messages directing me to pay more or any suggestions as a way to do any upgrades. 
When I go to the website I find a location where it says "always free updates". 
Any suggestions?

    Which version of C1 did you have a license/activation code for originally?

    What have you now installed?

    If you have a code for V20, for example, it would not work for V21. 

    You could, however, download V20, install it and activate it with the code you have.

    That's just an example. More information might be required if things are more complicated than that.
